While I know a lot of people are very careful with their watches, I want to fully enjoy wearing my timepieces. My Explorer has some scratches on the bracelet and clasp, but I don’t mind this. I don’t intend to re-sell, and I would love for the watch to be attached to some great memories when I pass it down😊
also, bonus points if you can guess where this is!

Ive gone exploring with mine too, but I hedged a little and put it on a nato to avoid damaging the bracelet
Agreed. That watch is not meant to be babied. Where the heck out of it!

Definitely going to get a nato too! Been eyeing a ribbed nato from Cheapest Nato Straps for a while!

Nice watch- and I'm guessing near Phoenix?
Right on brother looking good
Nice, keep building memories a d making it your own. best thing is I don’t think reasonable wear on the case doesn’t diminish value over the long run. My 14270 is pretty roughed up too.
The explorer is the only Rolex I would buy if that were presently possible! And I would wear it come hell or high water that's what it's designed for!
I can't tell you where the picture is but I can tell you it's NOT the UK!

Agreed! I think both of the Explorers (1 & 2) are the last watches in their catalogue to remain faithful to what Rolex used to be: reliable and timeless tool watches. I hope you’re able to get one! My AD surprised me with this one because we were both watch geeks and had several interesting conversations over a few months 😅
Yes totally agree with you! And developing a good rapport with your AD is the way in!
Central Texas actually!
Eh.. relatively close!
I know I'm a bit late WatchDog beat me to it I was gonna guess somewhere in Arizona. but not for nothing you got the best tool watch out there enjoy it while you can and never look back.
