My first foray into watches

Orient who? Never heard of them, but YouTubers rated them. So this modded Mako with domed sapphire for £120 shouted “Buy me”. Its a business-like appe...

The lesser popular Seiko Ginza edition

If only I’d got the Alpinist! But they were sold out several times over, so the Presage was the only option. No Regrets though, I fell in love with th...

Yes, the date is small and a cyclops would mess up the whole design, but in reality it’s ok to read.

I wish I knew what you were talking about, but spindly wrists on the end of toned arms that barely feel the weight of the watch are not a problem for me. Is it safe to Google Menudo or does your internet history need cleaning? Thanks for your cryptic comment.

I considered the ladies, but the watch face diameter seemed too small, the face on this is perfect. Thanks.

Not heavy at all, it’s really comfy, I have a lighter Orient Mako with a metal bracelet and Hamilton Jazzmaster on leather, and both feel more awkward to wear. The fit of the Inox is so good, it feels almost weightless. I’m always surprised when reviewers talk about the ‘heaviness’. Thanks for your question.

Thanks for the tip, I was looking at the rubber strap, which weighs less than my Orient Mako 2.

I'm on the cusp of ordering a steel one for £300, but undecided, is it too bling for a small wrist (albeit very large hands)? But it's a gorgeous-looking lump of metal, my other watches are all rather classy and slim, this could be a welcome contrast, despite being opposite to convention (ie proportion the face size to wrist size).

Nice review, and no need to apologise for the G-Shock comments, the Gs are less legible, almost overdesigned, although I opted for a plainer 'lady's' copper-coloured G-MS before the metal Casioaks were introduced, and I'm still drawn to the Inox.

Before the metal G, there was the Baby G

I can’t recall, it at the time of buying there wasn’t yet a metal G-Shock for sale on the official site, so I opted for the Baby G, with Bluetooth, so...

Big watch, small wrist, I love it

I’ve broken the rule of small wrist needs a smaller dial, but the Inox is an icon and my eyesight ain’t so good. At my age, I’m looking for legibilit...

Victorinox Inox, anyone have wrist shots?

I love the ethos of the Inox, despite being made by a company normally associated with Boy Scouts and Xmas stocking fillers. A G Shock with hands? But...
