A little over 3 years in, and a bit over a year on WC. What was one has now became many. I very much enjoy watches. Current member of the Horological Society of Utah. New to building and designing watches. Collected all 3 TGV/Squale collaborations. Lover of Blue Dials, Chronographs, and Hamilton Venturas. I have Sub-collections of Timex, Invicta, Sugess, Pagani, and Seiko watches. I love the depth of what watches are and all the information that accompanies them.
I had a few watches but wasn't a collector or knew very much and then saw an add for Watch Gang about 3 years ago and thought wow spend $80 a month (promo) and get one worth up to $500. I did this for about 6 months and then decided though I wasn't unhappy with what I had received I felt I then had more a feel of what my actual taste is and would rather pick out my own. After that I have looked through many brands online offerings and picked up what I am most impressed with . My collection is nearing 80 now and though there are still some more out there I would like 100 is going to be the number for me to stop at. I really like dials that have some color or texture and though I would like to find some that are more obscure than what I currently have. I usually prefer stainless steel cases and leather or nato straps. Any comments on this post is welcome as is any thoughts or recommendations on what I should consider. Sorry went on so long. I am just that way when talking about watches, NBA, dogs, Hawaii, and women. 😎
