I love these Eastern Arabia dials. One of my grails is a Rolex platinum Daytona with baguette diamond bezel. They heat blue all the hands on the dial. It’s such a unique Rolex. That baby blue reminded me of it. And yes, I know it’s unobtainable. One can dream right?! 😅🙈💸

Yes, you’re absolutely correct. It’s not really a price issue. (At least at retail) it’s more the fact that you have to acquire it from an AD in the Middle East. I was told by some watch collector buddies that it would be worth the gamble to fly over to the UAE and find a collector with one on his wrist and compliment/befriend them so that they might just gift it to me. 😅😏😆 Apparently that’s how @watchjabs got his Eastern Arabic platinum Daytona.

No, you do not have to find a collector, and do not expect to be gifted anything. No one in the UAE, no matter how rich they are and how much you compliment/befriend them, will ever gift you a grail for being smart 🫏, in your dreams and theirs. The way to an ME grail is to establish a relationship with the most influential AD in the region, namely Seddiqi & Sons in Dubai.

I was joking! 🙃 Of course, I don’t expect that to ever happen. I could never accept a gift like that anyway.
