A Journey restarted

As a young professional I return to watches looking for something to take me away from all the computers, networks and phones in my day to day. Something about a mechanical watch interested me. Something that ran on springs and gears. But at the start of my career I couldn’t dream of a Rolex. So I went for a watch that looked like a Sub. Invicta gets a lot of hate but it opened the door for me. Leads me down a path from Omega, Grand Seiko, IWC and Breitljng. Now later in my career and some success to boot, I finally am back to the grail that started it. This time a real Rolex Sub

Very nice Sub!

·

I love this story and congratulations on the pick up.

Really nice sub, see you went with the no date Sub (the best looking one in my very humble opinion. Great story and watch evolving as career progresses. Congrats on the career improvements!

·

Congrats, great story and full circle👍

·

Congrats on the Rolex! Invicta only gets hate for their big, multi-colored, "pie pan" watches; there is strong support from watch enthusiasts for their Aviator, Pro Diver, Grand Diver, and Sub-Aqua lines. 😎

·

Love to hear about your journey to your dream! Hoping to get there on day myself. Just starting my watch collecting journey myself. Cheers and congrats!

·

And now you have the perfect pair: the Sub for normal situations and the Invicta when you have to visit more sketchy places. 😀
