I forget that people can work from home and I figured it would not be daily this I based it off a weekly drive. Monthly round trip moves the needle on wearing out the car for sure.

Would they consider bring back the Milgauss and using the green crystal on other models?

You got to do what is right for you.

@WristCounselor my initial thought was go with the car but then I thought about it. Here is my thinking 2.5;hour drive is going to be 100-150 miles I am thinking so a weekly drive between the office and farm is two to three hundred miles. Once a week that is 800 to 1200 miles a month. So you are in for service every three months. Service on an I saying takes a week meaning a month a year you cannot enjoy the car. So let’s say you are putting on 10,000 miles a year. You get what maybe 10 years out of the car at that rate? The watch you can enjoy daily for five years before needing service. Then, what will take 4 months? Even if service takes a year in that same time the car is in for service for about 5 months in 5 years. The watch is going to last for generations so you potential for long term enjoyment at a higher rate of use is there. The car would be enjoyable not doubt but I just feel the watch has more long term enjoyment in it.
