Turned down a speedy 3861 with a discount, did i make a mistake?

I was offered 14:5 % discount on the speedy haselite but discovered that it had the non micro adjustment bracelet. So I said no, did I make a mistake?

You made the smart choice. A discount on something you don't really want is not really a discount at all.

There will always be another, especially if that was EBay. Did you not know before the Speedies do not have micro adjust?

Only found out when I want to the AD even though I told them I wanted the micro adjustment bracelet

That makes sense. It was not until last year that any of Speedy had a micro adjust.

You obviously didn't want it that much , so imho you've answered your own question.

Personally no way I'd buy used anyway, lightly used & still well within warranty is what I'd be looking for myself. 👍🏻

No mistake - if you can walk away from it then it's not something that touched you enough. It's not unusual for Omega to offer discounts so don't think you've missed your one and only chance. I have a standing 20% discount with Omega but there's nothing in their current line up that's tempted me.

Walking away from any speedy is a mistake in my opinion. But that's just mine. If you have any reservations about a watch it's best to definitely figure it out if it's what you want. These watches aren't cheap.😎

That is my feeling afterwards. Prices are going up 2/3 times/year.
