Personally I like a nice presentation box for anything over $1k.... It just adds an extra element, especially if given as a gift. However I do wish there was a way to repurpose them in some way.
Congrats, love mine as well... Went to my AD to buy something completely different, but this called out to me. I don't usually make impulse purchases of this value, but I just couldn't resist this one and do not regret it at all.
