Whilst it’s great to see no one (as at 5:44 GMT) as an investment purchaser - I clicked option C. myself - and I am kind of shocked more haven’t.
I am in this as a collector but - in order to keep acquiring you have to sell. Also - most times a sale is at a loss - so if you have the odd watch that sells for a profit (maybe you bought it cheaply) that seems pretty fair too!

If I wanted to flip, I would have sold my Hulk and BLNR two years ago. I’d rather have the watches.
Make more with investments than any watch can do for me. All my watches are strictly for pleasure.
Wrong audience for the "investment" question

I’m extremely pleased that’s the case! I love WatchCrunch more everyday.
Watches ARE NOT, at least in my range, a good investment...I seem to buy high and sell low but i make it up in volume...LOL Enjoy the hobby

This has been my experience too! Lol

Thanks for adding a new perspective. 🍻
Pleasure
In my experience, most watches just end up losing you money.
Even with my top-performing watches like AP/PP/Rolex, which have gone up 600% in 30 years, when you adjust for inflation, they pretty much break even.
Therefore, pleasure is my goal.
I dont buy to flip, but I do buy watches that I can resell with minimal depreciation. (I.e. Buy well established brands, pre-owned).
Having been burnt in the past buying brand new and not gelling with the pieces, I tend to only buy pre owned now.
Hey, I've never actually sold a watch in my life. I've given a few away to people I care about, though. Trying to get them to like the hobby, lol. 😆
