Christopher Ward C60 Chronograph

Hello Everyone!

I've casually owned watches for about 10 years now but never really appreciated them for the art that they were until this past year. I recently purchased this Christopher Ward C60 and fell in love with it. A buddy told me about this community where watch loves unite. After scrolling through posts and comments I knew I had to join. Thanks for having me!

This was my first CW love before I found out its size. Way too chunky, but gorgeous. Ended up buying another model and Ive been a consistent CW client for years now, but Im still waiting for another of these with a slimmer/smaller movement. Ill pull the trigger fast.

I bought that exact strap as well! Thing is pretty stiff out of the box.

Yeah, it's definitely thicker than other nylon straps so is pretty stiff out of the box. Mine has broken in and is not quite as stiff, but it's still quite firm. I'm a big fan of it and CW in general.

Quick question, does your C60 Chronograph make a lot of noise while it's self winding?

·

Not normally, although I did hear it for the first time last night when I was leaning my hand against my hand. I was in a very quiet room at the time, but normally I can’t hear it at all.

Has yours started to get noisy?

I cannot hear it unless Im in a super quiet room or I'm holding it against my ear and moving it. Sounds like winding.

That will be the rotor moving. It’s not uncommon but background noise usually means you can’t hear it.

·

Welcome. I guess thats why you are here among the like minded.

The yellow accents on that chrono look great 👌
