What are your experiences with websites such as Jomashop, Creationwatches, etc?

As many (or all) of us, I have SEVERAL watches I want to get my hands on. I found good prices on websites such as Jomashop or Creationwatches. I live in The Netherlands and I would like to know if others have bought watches on these websites? Are they trustworthy? How long was the shipping? What about taxes?

Ashford Jewelers have always been good for me.  Jomashop was OK a few years ago but my last 2 experiences have been awful and I'll never use them again.

I never bought from Creation but have heard good things.

I have not had any issues whatsoever with Jomashop. The shipping was fast, and I cannot speak to import taxes, which will depend more on your home country.

Bought a family Christmas present on Creation Watches. They had a 15% off coupon. Clearly the best deal at that time.

Use froogle.google.com to find out who is selling the watch you want for the lowest price. Have never had a problem with JomaShop, and in fact got a full refund when they could not repair a watch--and kept it! Ashford is gr8, and their Tissot prices are fantastic as they are an AD for many brands.

I just bought a Seiko from Creation Watches and seems fine to me.

This is very helpful thank you!

I have purchased two watches from Jomashop and had no problems.

I love CreationWatches. They offer good prices and shipment is quick. DHL here processed the tax on my behalf with charges.
Jomashop is ok but the normal shipment is slow. Perhaps it’s because of my location (Southeast Asia) and it was during the holiday season end of last year.

Jomashop is fine as long as you understand they aren't an AD for any brands, so there will be no warranty on any of their items. But the only time I've ever needed to use a watch warranty, I found it much easier to just go to a local watchmaker, Nomos wanted the watch for like 6 weeks + shipping time.

I just got an Orient ray 2 from creation watches. I ordered it regular post, it arrived to Ireland under 4 weeks which is what they had said to be fair. But the tracking info did not really show any useful information.

It cost 132 Euros all in, there were no import charges. It did not come in the usual Orient box,  bit a very cheap pouch and a cardboard box flat packed. Overall I'm am happy with creation watches as they did say this was what would come with the watch. The watch was perfect, complete with hang tag and clear wrapping.  Hope this helps.

I've bought three watches from Jomashop. The latest purchase is a Tissot T101 Asian Games Edition. Clearly an old stock from 2018. The watch ran poor from the jump, stutters and stops. Contacted Jomashop via email, got shipping label right away (as in within 5 minutes on a Saturday night) - all goes well, I'll be out $13.75 for return shipping.

Update: Jomashop refunded the full amount the day after the watch was returned. Jomashop covered the shipping. Hassle-free return.

Ive bought an Omega and a few tissot from Jomashop and shipping was quick, was a great experience.

Pro Tip: If you are buying a expensive watch from them and call customer service and ask nicely, they will often include the brand warranty card in the order.

No issues to date with Joma but I've only ordered within the US
