Hi all!
In the last year, I've been on a quest to find my first digital watch. When I was a kid I got my first digital watch as a 1st place price in a spelling bee contest and it was, of course, a CASIO.
It was my favorite watch and I wore it every day from age 7 until 13 when I lost it due to a problem with the strap. Sadly I never recovered it. Now I've been trying to purchase the same model but it's been impossible. I can't find it!
So here I am, asking all of you watch experts and watch lovers. I have 1 picture where you can somehow see the watch but without too much detail. I remember the watch looked like an f-91w or a W-217H but it had a small "handle" or "bar" thing on the left side. I have attached pictures as references.
It would mean the world to me if someone could help me find the right model.
Let's make it happen!!

Approximately what year was it obtained?
It almost looks like a CMD Universal Remote, but it looks too small for that. Could it have been a Pulse Check? That would be about the same size.

somewhere around 1997 or 1998

OK, after a bit of digging, the closest thing I could find was the Casio WN-10 Alarm Chronograph. I can't tell if this is the exact model, but I think it is pretty close.
edit: I think I found it! The CASIO 695 F-102!

it's not that one. The "handle" or "bar" on the left side looked something like this: (pardon my sketch this is the best I could do)

You are welcome. I am glad my experience digging for vintage digital watches to add to my collection was able to benefit someone besides me. 🤣

Impressive skills I might say. It took you a few minutes what I tried to do for over a year! haha

Well, I have spent probably too much time honing them in the vintage digital market. 😅
@Max - Make this a feature of WC (if it isn't already). New topic: #watchdetective or feature. Provide badges to those that help others hunt down watches.
Well the good news is once you find and purchase it gonna be a lot cheaper than a Rolex!

Its gonna be a hard find for sure or it might appear when least expected. But you right not many has that certain watch in mind and Casio back then made few watches that you will never see again.
