So, I've started work on the DX Sealion above. Serviced the 6106C movement, sorted the case and the bracelet (had a bit of fun with Hammerite and epoxy resin)
Case looks a bit better. However, I'm currently waiting on a part from the US of A to finish the job so, in the meantime I've taken this rather tired 6119B from 1968...
given it a nice few days at the Spa and It's feeling much better about life now.
I've also taken this sad little Actus from 1972...
With a fairly awful crystal...
and rather patchy performance...
serviced it's 6106C movement and refinished it's case so now it looks just a smidgeon better...
and performs rather better too...
I'll finish the DX Sealion when the part arrives and in the meantime... it's Bellmatic time ( @Guvnor64 will be pleased)
Until next time gorgeous people.

Awesome work!
Very lovely job on them 👏
I think you're gonna need another watch box @Guvnor64 😉
Wonderful work! Saving them one at a time.

Actually no not yet!
I've restricted myself to just the Bellmatic 8n the short term!
Despite the fact that I've just returned from the pub with Gareth and he brought along three lovely restorations . That 1968 watch is absolutely fabulous. But I'm staying strong. My recent more expensive acquisitions means in order to stay married, I'm keeping a check on watch purchases. And it's killing me!

Wow! These are very cool
Wonderful job! Always good to see your restoration work! I'm still a zygote in the repair and restoration department, so it's inspiring to see your body of work.
I can only do partial restorations for now, here's one of the Seiko DX models I've worked on.
Awesome work again👍👍👍
