A Colourful Little Donkey...

So, here's the latest little chap set to be released back into the wild after a few days of R&R in the Gasworks sanctuary.

It's a Seiko (just for a change) 7005-7130 from September 1972. I was a smidgeon over 2 years old at that point and it's certainly aged better than I have. I had a tough paper round in fairness.

The movement wasn't too bad although the balance spring was a little bit out of kilter and needed a "tweak". A good service was all it really needed; it now runs pretty much perfectly.

I love the 7005/7006, they're so simple yet so utterly reliable.

The case is quite an interesting shape and, although not seriously bashed, it needed a fair bit of work to get it looking decent again.

I found the rather splendid NATO on CheapestNatoStraps and it's an almost perfect match for the dial.

I'm really happy with this one. It'll be tough to let go.

Until next time gorgeous people. ♥

Great strap match! If it wasn't for the three blue dials I already have from you I would snap it up!
