Finnish or Swedish Watch Brands?

I have a buddy that is Finnish and really wants to buy a nice watch for himself that is made by either a Finnish or Swedish company. I showed him Nezumi as a Swedish option, but does anyone know of a Finnish brand he could look into?

Thank you!!!

https://sufhelsinki.com is one of the more popular Finnish watchmakers amongst collectors in Finland.

I would like to suggest Tusenö, they're based in Göteborg Sweden. I got the windseeker a month ago and am thoroughly impressed with them. The second release of their diver is on its way.

A Swedish brand I have on my list. I'm a big fan of the Air Wolf Viggen

S.U.F. or an actual Sarpaneva would get my vote.

I would look at sjoo Sandstorm 👍

S.U.F. and Sarpaneva are the obvious choices, but may be out of reach. I have a Pook and love that it is off the beaten path in terms of style.

Finland has a rather generic watch brand called Leijona that sells watches at a relatively low price range (like 50-300€). I like my Järwi, but you are not assembling watches in Finland for the money range that they sell stuff for, so it's clearly China-made and only the design is done in Finland.

However, they have a Leijona X Voutilainen collab series that's far more expensive and assembled in Switzerland under a Finnish watchmaker. None of these watches have any appeal to me, but could be worth mentioning.

And if you have unlimited money, there is Voutilainen itself. Rolex is spare change compared to these.
