Share your strap for a vintage King Seiko 45KS
Hello dear community,
I recently bought this vintage King Seiko 45KS (4502-7000) and I’d love your thought on straps that pair well with this watch. Looking for inspiration beyond the black alligator style option. Would be awesome to get your thoughts on what would pair well that’s dressy but also on what can dress it down for non-suit times.

I have the KS 45-7000 and pair it with alligator and crocodile depending on my shoes as I always match them when wearing tailored clothing. I also wear exotic straps with sneakers and sweats.

Custom blue leather.
I prefer flat non padded leather straps on all of my vintage watches, GS & KS included. Think Nomos black or brown Cordovan style straps which are perfectly acceptable and available. You can also shop for an actual vintage NOS strap. Here are a few pics for reference:

I think the one you've got on it works great. Some sort of black, highly textured leather, like crocodile, is a dead set home run for this style of watch. You're basically there.

I still have it on the alligator pattern leather strap it came with. I am happy about Santa gifting me the KS buckle, which did not come with the watch.
