SEIKO SNE573

First impressions

The Seiko Sne573 came by mail this morning after almost a month of wait.

Wanted a small, light but versatile solar diver for work in the kitchen.

The bezel action is very precise and the dial is also easy to read even if it's on the smaller side.

I like the weight and the rubber strap that comes with it is very comfortable on my 17cm wrist.

I think this watch will definitely be my main work tool.

Not having to adjust it beeing solar quartz will be a big plus.

It has a very vintage aesthetic look with some modern specifications.

20 bars unidirectional 120 clicks with a saphyre cristal.

At 38.5 mm and a thin case it's very discret without being boring.

I had it for a very good price and this was also important for me.

Good job Seiko! 👍🌞🔪

I have a Timex Expedition North Solar on the way for broadly the same reasons, I want to dip my toes back into the world of solar with a functional "everyday" kind of watch.

Timex really impresses me lately! I'm hoping you enjoy it!

I also have a solar gshock and this feature is very practical for an everyday watch!

Cheers!

That's a great case. Having a small wrist I appreciate small dive watches. Reminds me of my SKX025

I have the SNE569 and really enjoy it still. Mine came on a bracelet which I don't love as much. Waiting for Uncle Seiko to make a better one. Currently on a rubber strap though and works very well as an everyday watch. Not that I wear it everyday haha...
