This is me.

Who else here can relate to this?

And this sums up why, try as I might, I've never been able to get enthusiastic about divers other than as beaters. Thank goodness for gardening and diy as opportunities to wear them as well as swimming!

Probably best to leave it to James Bond when wearing divers as a dress watch.

·

Hell yeah, wear with pride. And with a Mr smug face that's knowing that no matter how wet they get from the office drinks fountain they will survive 🎯

The diver + lounge suit or even + DJ look is fine, just not for me. Each to their own.

I can relate from the outside looking in, that's how some of my friends appear to my eyes.

Now if you photoshop Max Headroom in his place, that's how an Apple watch looks with evening wear 😁

·

I too, have been known to wear a diver as a dress piece and a dress piece just cuz I wanted to.

There are plenty of 100m watches (if about 75 of all watches is plenty) that is fine as dress watches... Here is mine...

On a whim I wore my Holton Pro for a week of suited up shenanigans. What they say about the aggressive knurling on the bezel chewing on cuffs, is in point of fact true.....🤪

And its easy to forget us watch nerds care about suits with dress watches. But a good chunk of ppl don't care. See more smart watches and digital watches with suits, even at black tie affairs, than anything else. At least amongst the working stiffs/security, non boss types and on wedding party goers.
