(Seriously, there aren't tiers or levels. There is where the Venn diagram of what you like intersects with what you can comfortably afford.)

Tissot is my Swiss "not too expensive" favorite and the first one here is a1200 euro mechanic, but the other is 500-650 quartz wathes - which I prefer...

Tissot for me.

Christopher Ward (British), Formex, Victorinox, Tissot, Certina, Longines. I think these brands offer way better value for money than Hamilton imo.

I'm also annoyed to think of Hamilton as a Swiss brand. I feel the brand is American even though it got pawned off overseas decades ago.
