Another lesson learned whilst modding

I got tired of waiting for my hands to come in from China so I put these cathedral ones on.

The whole setup looks good however what you’re seeing is without the crown fully installed. The dial posts I picked (that I thought would work) are for 3.8 o’clock and the Willard case is at 4.1.

If I want to make it work I will need to use contact tape on the movement. (Something i didn’t want to do) but it looks so good I just might have to!

Wow!!! I love green Alpinists and I love glass bezel inserts. This is way outside my expertise, but I love that you've done so much creative work without killing the underlying Seiko design language.

Love the look of the watch but I just don't like cathedral hands full stop, needs something thicker and pointy

These are the ones I’m waiting on but the tracking has messed up and I got impatient and just wanted to put it together. I was going to swap the hands when they came in.

I’ve been there a handful of times but don’t check their stock as often as I should. Thanks for reminding me about them!
