60 watches. Now, hold on: At least a dozen or so are on their way out, but I'm also the kind of sentimental prick who likes to attach watches to milestones and/or significant moments in his life, so it looks like I could easily stay around the 50-60 figure for a fairly long time.
After checking your budget, I would perhaps consider a Luminox Patagonia (tritium powered, natch!) or a General Purpose Field from Marathon. Check Amazon, they're readily available…
Awesome! First of all, getting rid of a few of those takes a measure of discipline that I would surely lack (😜), but the whole thing puts in perspective how often we're sitting fairly close to our grail-achieving goals and simply won't make the hard choices to get there. Thanks for the valuable lesson, looking forward to you getting that sweet-ass JLC!
Man… that's some good taste right there. Either watch is highly unique in its own way, feels like a true choice for someone who's into watches, not into trends. That being said, I've always have a soft spot for Omegas, but in my book there's no wrong choice here. Kudos on your taste, sir.
Didn't care much for it when I first saw the lineup, but now it's amongst the ones I like the most. Goes well with my wardrobe, I guess! 😎
