Let's play… YOU'RE THE BRAND AMBASSADOR!

Rules are simple:

  1. You can choose to be the brand ambassador for ANY brand

  2. You have to be seen in public with every watch that said brand decides to put out. Love the Tag Heuer Monaco but hate Aquaracers? Too bad…

  3. You don't get to wear ANY OTHER BRAND for the next 10 years

  4. You get to keep the watches from the brand… but NO RESELLING. Feel free to give them away tho, as the generous person you probably are.

  • BONUS POINTS for NOT going Rolex. Push yourselves out of your comfort zone, people

  • EVEN MORE BONUS POINTS for independents because why not

I would have to go with Longines

·

If given, I am shooting for the top and a brand with lots of diversity…Patek.

·

I’m an Omega fanboy so it’s easy for me. I choose Rolex. Kidding. Omega of course.

·

Omega.

·

Maurice de Mauriac

·

Breitling. Or Oris.

·

To be an "ambassador" I think also means you represent the brand, their ethos, and their impact - not just a walking billboard for their designs.

There might be more brands doing the same, but I am going with Oris. I am bias because I wear one most of the time 😂.

·

My safe bet would certainly be Seiko longines omega but

I've been looking at redwood. It's a small company from my city and I think I would like to encourage a local brand. My next watch will probably be the Tactical V2 from them.

I also really like what Nodus are doing. They have extremely beautiful and well specs watches at some very reasonable price.

Excellent idea of discussion very interesting to read you all!

·

Grand Seiko, Zenith, or Accutron.

·

Let's go JLC! Pretty diverse lineup but leaning dressy, which is right up my alley

·

I'd have to up my dress code a smidge but I'd adopt the international man of mystery persona and roll with Bulgari.

FP Journe

·

A Lange & Sohne. Pretty easy call there.

·

I’m taking Hublot…

·

I'd be an ambassador for G-Shock, if some entrepreneur bloke from Dragons Den can get his own limited edition model for no apparent reason then why can't I?

The people they choose are all obscure and so niche that the wider market's never heard of them and nobody actually has anything to do with the durability of the watches, it's all about how they look, you could even say G-Shock is becoming a fashion brand since the Casioak came out...😱

·

Who am I kidding, I would be a brand ambassador for San Martin if they would have me.

·

I'm the kind of person they would pay to NOT wear their watch. Id love to say Vostok, but they don't like my kind of folks in Russia.

·

I'm not celebrity material, so I would have to choose the brand I would most like to destroy.

·

G shock. I don’t love all their offerings but I defiantly love some and don’t hate any. I’d miss a dive watch with a nice bracelet, but I’d hate to not be able to wear a G Shock for 10 years.

·

A Lange and Sohne😊

Yes. All their watches are gorgeous

·

I would go with either JLC or A. Lange & Söhne.

·

Here lately I think I’d pick Christopher Ward. I have refined tastes yet not too much expendable funds to show for it.

·

Baume et Mercier, baby!

Same here!

Eh, I like most of the catalog (own a Spirit) but hate the Conquest/Hydroconquest.

·

Echo/Neutra and or Yema😎

·

It's probably Omega for me.

·

Oris

·

This is a tough one. I'd go Zenith.
