New Farer Discovery 36mm

I received my 36mm Farer Discovery last week and am very happy with it! It’s my first 36mm watch and honestly I was a little apprehensive about a watch that small but I’m very pleased with the size. I have 6.5” wrist so it makes sense.

I’m leaning into the smaller watches these days. Funny how opinions and thoughts are with sizing - a couple years ago I would scoff at a watch this size but as my collecting and tastes evolved, I’m here for it.

Back to this watch - here it is with a few of strap options from Farer. The grey leather strap is very nice, I also would like a black leather strap in the future. Also pictured is the oyster style bracelet with butterfly clasp and Milanese offered from Farer. Both are nice, oyster style has screw in links and half links so I got a good fit. I particularly like the classic look with the Milanese (also a first for me).

I love the dial layout, the coloring is a cool touch. It’s almost like a permanent lume but not too striking. The lume is also great, very legible.

Perhaps a colorful chronograph from Farer will be in my future!

I think I need this one 😮‍💨🔥 my only non-diver is a white Aqua Terra, which is incredibly polished and blingy. This looks wonderful for a daily grabber.

Gorgeous watch and really looks great on all those straps. I would add a brown leather for casual events and then it's got it all covered!

·

36mm is totally fine on 6.5" wrist

I have a 7.25" wrist and now you're making me think twice about the 36mm Hamilton I want lol

·

really like it, especially on the leather

❤️❤️❤️

Love the watch and it looks great on your wrist! I only wish it had a screw-down crown for a total of 100m WR.

The bracelet with the solid end links looks so perfect on that piece.

I'm with you on that line of thinking. My last two purchases have been 36mm and 38mm. I like the more diminutive size on my 7.5" wrist. I still enjoy my 42mm Moonwatch, and 41mm Aquaterra, they are both in regular rotation, but I am selling a 42mm Tudor to make room for another watch that is 36mm watch.

Beautiful watch..congrats!

That’s a really beautiful watch! Excellent design, I think.

The mesh looks the best 👍

36mm is the perfect size watch for your wrist imo. Nice Farer, I would like to pick one up myself one day. enjoy!

I’ve got a blue AT which I love, but the more casual look of this is great too

I wish it had 100m WR too! That’s really my only “complaint”
