Hey Guys, I need your Opinion on this Design

So Hey Guys, I‘m currently sketching around a bit trying to make Designs for a future Microbrand I dream of founding and was hoping to get some feedback off you.

Lose the red counter balance on the second hand or add more at the text above 6 o'clock. Make the difference between the hour and minute hands a tad more pronounced. Use the same check pattern that's on the dial on the crown. High polish the KB logo. Lastly ignore random dudes on the internet.

·

I would extend the counter balance of the second hand. Also, another version of this could be with a small seconds sub-dial at 6.

·

Wait, is this a 3d model? :O

If the sub dial of the second hand looked like the main dial, it would be like picture in picture, droste effect.

·

Everyone have their own opinion about everything on a watch, it's though, myself would prefer rounded lugs , different hands and a bigger crown.

Yeah, I think it’s easier to directly sketch in 3D :)

Thanks, I just wanted to get some diffrent perspectives because I know something is off but I can’t quite put my finger on it :)

·

All three hands are disproportionately too long, narrow, and bold.

Wishing you nothing but success. I admire that you are pursuing a passion because it's way too easy to let dreams fade.

BTW there is much about what you have so far that I like already. The case, dial layout and colorway are all things that would make me interested in being a buyer.

·

I think it looks fantastic and that test driving it on this forum is very smart. Well done and best of luck on the brand.

·

I dig the steps on the lugs but I feel like they may be a “destroyer of sleeves”. Those edges may need to be chamfered. The hands are definitely a great length but could be fattened up a bit.

·

Personally not a fan of the stepped lugs. Agree the second hand counter balance should be longer and without red. Logo needs to be more pronounced, maybe polished or different font? Love the dial color and texture. Overall much better than anything I could design, kudos on a promising start.

·

Lots of differing opinions on the lugs, I love the look of stepped lugs and its something you rarely see except on vintage watches so I appreciate you've brought it to this modern design

The sharp angles and steps of the lugs don't integrate well with the round case IMO. Maybe make them flow more smoothly instead?

Also you might want to consider the sharpness of the tips, steps and sides of the lugs since you don't want to turn them into razors.

I do like the idea of hollowing the lugs but I don't know if this mechanically sound IRL.

·

Looks good but I’m not sure about the logo.

·

Congrats on putting your work out here to essentially be judged, that takes courage in addition to your passion.

·

I think the more you look at it the more it grows on you. I like the minute hand sweeping far into the length of the indices. Its nice the way it is and i am no designer but since its a concept drawing try maybe a crown guard that fits into the grove between the top and bottom. Maybe the KB should be horizontally proportioned instead of "stacked" I like the color too.

·

I like it! I'd love to see it on a strap or bracelet. Very cool design tho.

·

Very unique. I love the different depths and the indents. I wouldn’t wear it but it looks cool

·

I like it! What I can suggest you, since you know how to 3d model, is to consider 3d printing to evaluate proportions, comfort, and overall design. Trust me that seeing it on your wrist, is a game changer. Keep up with the great work!💪🏼💪🏼

·

It’s exquisite, the only thing I’m not too sure about is the lug design

·

Love this ! Is there a way to make the logo pop a little more it seems a tad washed out with the texture of the dial

That being said this is a winner

·

Really nice design. Make it a high polish index and case and I’m in on the first order
