Cheapest NATO straps are pretty cool.

Thank you to @Aurelian for tipping me off a couple weeks ago to CheapestNATOstraps.com I ordered three straps, initially looking for bronze hardware to match the CW in the pic. While the bronze isn’t quite the same as the watch’s the straps are nice, and indeed the cheapest. They have a little stretch to them, and we’ll see how they hold up. The selection of colors and options are great too. They shipped from Sweden to me in California in just under two weeks. We’ll see how they hold up over time but today I’m quite happy with them.

I have been happy with what I have bought there.

Same here, with the Marine Nationale straps. But with me they bill out of Sweden, but seem to ship out of Germany. Nevertheless, I love my most recent addition, which is a leather NATO strap.

I have been happy with the straps I have gotten.  Takes a while sometimes to get here to the States but you can't complain too much when you consider the cost.

·

I found those adjustable NATO straps a bit cumbersome, but the quality is good. I really, really wish she'd make those Jubilee straps in 18mm.

I'm torn on this brand. They are indeed the cheapest, and I'd say they are even a great value. For the price, they can't be beat. But, after having some "premium" NATO straps from UTE (now Hodinkee's maker) and even Crown & Buckle and Haveston, you get what you pay for. The question is, for the same price, do you want 3 or 4 ok straps or 1 nice, thick, soft strap with more robust metal hardware? I'm honestly torn. Even more honestly, I have way way way too many straps already so why am I even in this conversation? 😭

You and me both!  🤣  UTE are top notch straps for sure.  Great length and very comfortable.  Mine have been durable too.  What fraying I have had was easily taken care of with my trusty Zippo.

The problem I have with some is the length of the strap.  Some are just too short for a proper tuck with my 7.5" wrist.  Cheapest puts the lengths in the description so it is easy to tell if it is a pass for me.

Some of the best NATO straps I have are from MORA Straps.  Single piece solid machined hardware (not formed or bent) and a really tight weave.  The closest to Omega/Tudor quality I have seen.  I think the pandemic put some stress on them as a company but the website is still there and I hope they make it back.  Really great NATOs.  Not cheap but worth the RRP in my opinion.

Most of the NATOs and MNs are good for the price. For example Bark & Jack is better but costs alot more.

However the "tropic" rubber I bought from them is much worse than tropics from Aliexpress. Same goes for a leather strap I ordered, it was hard and awful.

I'm sold on NATOs too but my favorite is Benchmark from North Carolina.   Good stuff! Great prices.

my minimum order was 10 and will be more soon

Thanks for the link! Been looking for leather single pass straps (that are in stock) for awhile.

If you don’t mind them to be shipped by Viking Longboat, they are a fantastic bargain. I’ve got 5 straps sitting in their cart waiting for the click.

I ordered 2 a few days ago, they’ll probably take a few weeks to arrive. Not expecting much.

Never heard of MORA - funny how there's always another watch, strap, or related brand to discover! Their straps look great and are super reasonable at $16, but, like you say, seems like they've left the brand go. No insta posts, no FB posts since 2021, and only 1 of the 4 straps shows as in stock. Bummer, they do look great!
