IMO, if you buy fashion brand, try to stay with the really cheap ones. For that price range, there's plenty of really good squared watches around.
Looking at your collection, your fossil is a fashion brand? Cheap quartz movement. The Hugo boss is a swiss quartz created by movado so confused with you stating it's a fashion brand

I don't understand what's your point of by bringing my old Fossil, but for 800£ there's plenty of options that IMO is far better for less money. If you really love it, go get it, it's your choice after all.
The Bulova and Seiko that other suggested are far less expensive and get the look of a Cartier Tank, I would even suggest the Vario Versa would be a good alternative, if you also like the vibe of a JLC Reverso.

I mean if you get it for under 100 then maybe buy anything over that I would not go for it.
If you like it, and accept it for what it is, it's a good alternative.
Name and movement snobbery is part of the watch world, so expect a lot of "but the tank was the first"....
I would honestly prefer the Hamilton American Classic Boulton.
