Just a few miles from my driveway lies The Bingham Copper Mine — the World’s largest man-made excavation — shown this chilly afternoon adorned with the Season’s first snow. I thought I’d snap a shot wearing my new Islander Bethpage.
Since there’s nothing in my life to brag about…I’ll leave that to this human-engineered spectacle to do the job.

Wow gorgeous skyline
Beautiful mountain and interestin mine landscap
A hike this summer above the beach
At the beach with my son. He's carrying a foam board he loves for this section of beach.
He's a watch lover as well. I prefer he surf with a G Shock on. This is a Promaster Diver I gave him for his birthday. Open water swims I ask him to wear a red GShock so I can spot him

So many lovely sunsets!

Mt Rainier. This was on a hike but I can see the mountain from my home in Seattle and I'm always in awe.
Ha! The copper mine is like 5 minutes from my front door. Hello neighbor!
Vancouver Bc - pretty rich with natural wonders. The ocean and coast, mountains, forests, rivers, lakes and lively downtown all are walking distance or a short drive.
Walking in the forests - call for the Kurono “forest” lacquer dial
Here’s my daughter playing at nearby Spanish banks: Blok Watch on her wrist!
10 minute walk to Kitsilano pool at the beach - 150 yards across. Super sea wolf Aquamarine dream (I‘d rather be swimming’ on caseback)
kayaking up the coast is quiet and beautiful, nature all around you. 200m Prospex on wrist (Ginza edition?! Arg, got this one wrong thematically)
The beach at the end of our street

Oh goodness…I need a compass 😂

Awesome! Hey neighbor!

What a paradise! Would you agree B.C. is the most beautiful Province?

Wow! Can‘t be more convenient than that! “Hey honey…I‘m riding the Schwinn to the beach for a quick dip…be back in 30 minutes.”
My head is the densest rock in the neighborhood. Other than that the sky is nice if you get out of town

Thanks!
Yes, BC is pretty nice. Mild winters and summers (excepting for recent climate change stuff) and a solid 4 seasons. I was born here and grew up here so had generally assumed most of Canada is basically the same. Vancouver wasn't a fancy place or international destination in the 70s or 80s when I was growing up. Travelling a bit dispelled that notion.
While I won't say Bc is the greatest province or anything, now as an adult it's very rare to ever meet another person here who is 'from Vancouver'. Those Canadians who could afford it moved from other provinces and wealthy people from the world over (mostly China and Iran) have moved here or bought property here to vacation at or keep kids and grandparents at.
Our province and city is still very beautiful though!
Pic here is from an aerial shot from more or less straight up above my hospital

Dang!…The Milky Way.
Thanks!

That shot is incredible!
Where I spend most of my time is very uneventful (except for monsoon season) just enjoy morning walks and enjoying an Ale watching the tide go in and out.
Such an abrubt face! Just think of the tectonic tumult it took to raise that.
It's ranked as one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. I don't want to be around the next time it blows! 🌋
