Now this is a watch: white face, black arabic numerals, black hands…infinitely readable!
Not only is it readable…it’s wonderfully-quirky. It sports a plated brass case, a reverberating tick from its raspy movement…and a twisty flex bracelet that slips effortlessly on this codger’s wrist. But best and most fun of all…it glows like a Chernobyl light post.
I find it enjoyable in the most relaxing fashion to wear this watch. It’s just easy — to wear, to read…and to own. It’s just “a watch”.
Do you own a Weekender, Easy Reader or the like? Can we see it?

Very good! You can’t go wrong with a watch like this! I like your Indiglo gif!!

Yeah…it’s just a great watch with no fanfare about it.
I don’t own one…but now I want to…..
I think the best use of Indiglo in a watch is on their weekender supernova line
My father has one, and he uses it on.... uh...
the weekend
I’ve always loved their easy reader and their weekender watches, but what’s always stopped me is their brass cases. What’s your experience with the material? It’s such a practical and affordable watch; and with the indiglo and easy readability, it would make a perfect day to day watch.

I often wear it to bed because of that awesome indiglo.

No issue whatsoever with the case. it’s smoothly plated and just looks like it has a nice polish to it.
Yes!
Admittedly, the Easy Reader is not my style, but us watch folk often forget the price brackets where reasonable people shop, and the ER is a king of these, because of Indiglo.
I got into watches by falling in love with the Weekender numerals, which crystallised in my green chronograph. In my collection, it has the best ratio enjoyment/price, along with my Prim.

I own 35mm and 38mm model. The only thing I don’t like is a loud ticking sound.

That’s one of the quirks I like admittedly.
I love my weekender!
