I NEED YOUR HELP WATCH CRUNCH

I was dead cert on a tissot prx ( quartz ) this pay day but have been watching videos on the citizen Tsuyosa, both around the same price point but can't decide, so the question is what would you do???? Automatic citizen or quartz tissot?

If you are looking at the Tissot PRX quartz price range, then I would take Tsuyosa. It also wears much nicer on the wrist for a 40mm watch.

·

I like the dial choices and handset of the Tsuyosa collection a lot more than the PRX personally, so I would go with Citizen all day every day.

·

My vote is for Citizen.

·

Save a bit longer. If not, Seiko presage all day long

I was in the same situation not so long ago. PRX won in my case and I've enjoyed every minute with that thing on my wrist.

Tsuyosas have a beautiful variety of dial color choices, plus the Presi bracelet looks 🔥🔥🔥(The ice blue picked my eye really hard but I realized it would be a 'summer watch' and PRX would fit all around the year.)

Buy what you will enjoy friend.

I guess it depends on how often you'll be wearing the watch. I wear my watches in rotation and always find it a pain to have to reset the date on my automatics, specially when you've finally decided which watch to wear with your outfit and you're rushing out the door in the morning to catch the train to work. 😀 That's when the convenience of quartz watches really come shining through!!

I've always quite enjoyed the whole reseting side of things, I'm sad like that lol, very valid points though, appreciate your input skyblue

...and so do I, but not when I'm trying to catch my train, lol. I save doing that for the weekends. See, I don't really give much thought to planning my work outfits the night before. I usually throw one together at the last minute then look in the watch box for a matching piece, lol. I love that my quartz watches are always raring and ready to go! (I've since stopped purchasing any automatics that have date windows). Good luck on whatever you choose to purchase. You can't go wrong with either of them!!

I own the PRX quartz snd tryed the Tsuyosa.

If a mechanical movement is not important to you, go for the PRX.

Yes, the Tsuyosa is great value for money as long you consider the mechanical movement.

But everything else is way better manufactured at the Tissot. The bracelet feels very great and actually more valluable as its price. While the Citizen bracelet is very sharp on their edges and feels quite cheap.

I would recommend you to go for the PRX Quartz but in a color which Citizen doesn't offer. So if you still want to go for the Citizen later, you can buy a color other than your owned PRX.

For example you can go for the PRX with the white brushed dial and goden indizes and later the yellow or green dial from Citizen.

Just an Idea.

But don't buy the black PRX, as you posted a black dial Tsuyosa. The black dial one is kind of a boring black.

We had many here who regret it and sold it. But do as you want.

I'm a citizen fan! Technology is on point and they are all well-made! Eco-Drive/Automatic does it for me...

Good luck on your decision.

Automatic Citizen. Personally, I think the fit and finish on the Citizen is nicer and the Miyota movement is a great movement, easily replaceable and repairable. The PRX movement is also a good movement, however, Swatch has made a the decision lately to make it difficult for outside people to get parts, new movements, etc, forcing you to deal with the AD which=$... Just something to consider.

😬 to much pressure. Personally own the prx auto and I love it. I don’t have the quartz version though so idk.

Awesome post! 🤩
