What are your thoughts on this bracelet?

Unfortunately the bracelet it came with has a problem with the micro-adjustment and will be returned to be fixed/replaced. I've thrown on a beads of rice bracelet(Zuludiver) it feels very comfortable but I am not sure if it suits the watch, thoughts?

EDIT(In a cool way, your suggestions and comments inspired me to experiment, see reply below for pics of some changes :) )

Hi, lovely looking watch AND strap, however, I think the original CW strap is a better match for the watch. Your ZULUDIVER is a good back up!

·

Looks very much a desk diver now.

·

I think beads of rice bracelets look awesome. And this is no different!

·

I echo @007216A. The OEM looks better, but not by much.

·

I love it, looks awesome on this CW trident 💪🏼

·

Looks great.   Jingles?  Not so much.

·

Looks surprisingly good, but I agree the OEM prob matches better still. If anything, I could see a nice Milanese/mesh bracelet as a viable alternative

·

Nice change up. The OG is a better match, but this is an attractive change.

·

I presume you prefer steel bracelets to alternatives in leather, rubber, nylon, etc? That's my personal taste and this one isn't bad at all. As long as you like, how should the opinion of others prevail?🤔😁

·

Finishing mismatch but I do love BORs. Put it back on stock when gets back.

Would slap leather on it until then. I hate not fitted end links

·

I think it works really well. I do notice looking again that the finishes kinda don’t match, but looks like the finish on the crown ties the two together

·

İmo it looks amazing!

Thanks for all the replies, actually inspired me to try this Sailcloth strap on the C60 and I really dig the look(I hadn't of thought of that combo) so thanks - PLUS I threw the Beads of rice on my Seiko Tortoise and now that looks a hella better!

·

Thanks! I think this whole strap/bracelet thing is going to become more of a collecting problem then watches 😂

·

The watch is awesome on the sailcloth !

The beads of rice is great but for me any bracelet that has no endlinks looks kinda weird.

Enjoy your Ward, mate, it's a beautiful piece

Looks nice

Looks good! This watch is a beauty!

This one is the 38mm, isn’t it? I’m thinking about purchasing it, but I need to decide between the 38mm and 40mm. What’s your wrist size? Can you please measure the dial size? Thanks!

Hey @Laidler , I am wearing the 38mm (45mm lug-to-lug)version, my wrist is around 17cm(6 and 3 quarter(ish) inches), fits me really well and it's been easy to tug under my sleeves as sadly I live in a pretty rough area.

I have pulled off a 42mm before with the Seiko shown above but that's because of it's lovely short lugs.

It is very comfortable and if you choose to go with either the 38mm or 40mm you won't be disappointed. I can also swear by the Christopher Ward customer service team who have kept in touch with me in regards to the bracelet.

I'm probably going to go for the "C65 Sandhurst Series 2" for my 30th next year(I've decided it's too risky for me to wear watches above a certain price point where I live(was gonna save for a Longines Spirit), so I will content myself with watches I can afford to replace :) ).

Thanks @DancingWatch! I'm leaning towards the 38mm, as my wrist is smaller than yours, and it looks perfectly on your wrist, so it would be a good fit also for me. I'd like to know the dial size, I'd appreciate if you can tell me that 🙏🏻

So I measured the dial (with a rather shitty ruler I might add :P) the actual dial excluding the bezel is around/just under 3cm.

Got the original bracelet back (replaced for free and works perfectly now - big shoutout to CW customer service team)
