I had the same issue a few years ago and have moved my watches over to my right wrist. It did feel weird and uncomfortable at first but once I got used to the weight and adjusted my bracelets as my right wrist is bigger than my left it just feels normal now. I have dinged and scratched my watches on both wrist don't see a significant difference.
