Furlan Marri Black Sector 2116-A
It’s been a bit of a wait (end of Jun 2022) but it’s finally arrived. Had to take some pics!
I will feature it as part of the ‘Up Close with…’ series I’ve been doing. Initial impressions:
- It looks better in person
- Size is perfect (for me) and it’s thin
- Two straps in the box
- Nice packaging/certificate/archive papers is a bonus
- The black curved end strap sits ‘odd’ on the lugs
- The lugs are really well done (looks and fitting)
- Watch rotation is out the window for a while…

Thank You. FM haven’t been around for that long. Started by a collector and a designer.
They won a GPHG award for their first (mechaquartz chronograph) offering.
This is their first mechanical piece. They limited the production to all orders placed in a 10-day window - I believe they will start ’regular’ production of it, later this year, albeit in not in this dial colour.
I like the design - the Corne de Vache style lugs combined with the case size, give it an ‘oversize’ vintage dress watch feel
It does look superb proportion-wise, and incredibly priced. I'll be looking at what they release from now on. Thanks for sharing and the background.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! I would just add the lugs to your statement - they’re more subtle than shown in the original renders but add that little extra ‘something’ to the whole design
