Mido has done it again!
You guys know I love my Mido Decompression Divers...remember I posted this article six months ago...

Well now those same fantastic reissues of the 1961 Decompression Diver have a GMT function in addition to all of the rest of the goodies.
Why did they do this? Well, because everyone has to issue a GMT this year right? 2023 is the Year of The GMT (it even rhymes).
If you are in the USA, you can pick them up in the HODINKEE store or go to Mido's web site to find your dealer outside the USA.
There is a "rainbow" dial version and an "orange" dial version. They both come with a tropic style rubber strap and a stainless steel Milanese bracelet.
Yes...you guessed it...I purchased both!

I really like chronographs especially vintage ones.

I have the black-dialled Diver reissue from a few years back. Dare I say these dials are a little too busy for me!?!
I love that you got both. I’m seriously considering the orange here. Just all over cool. I really like the previous Hodinkee LE but the colorway was just too similar to other stuff. With the same case size and movement and that applied logo, can’t go wrong.

The orange dial is really in line with the classic Vulcain decompression diver...
Delma tried to do one, but I just couldn't bring myself to purchase theirs...
