Help me pick!!!

I'm trying to decide between the Tudor BlackBay 58 and the Tudor GMT with the opaline dial. I would like to buy them both, but I like staying married. Thoughts?

Picking is always hard. So, as a watch collector and if you can afford it, get both!

You just need to try them both on. When you’ve had them both on your wrist, you’ll know which is the one for you.

(BTW, that Opaline dial is stunning in person, pictures don’t do it justice.)

BB58 - personal preference, don't really like GMTs

Make your own mind up, if not ask your wife 🤷‍♂️

You have a 7 inch wrist. Get the GMT first. It has more presence, more youthful, and more interesting (in my opinion)

The Blackbay 58 is not small, but it will look abit understated on your wrist.

Black Bay 58 ... all day, everyday!! 👍

BB58 unless you actually need the GMT function.

If those are the 2 the 58. The gmt’s bracelet is heavy duty. The extra thickness of the bracelet and the fact that the two links on each end of the clasp don’t articulate extend the clasp a link length on each side, and it weighs a brick! You will end up swapping the bracelet with one that’s not as nice, or you will sell it once the T for clasp is released for this model. Ohh and I have a 7.25 inch wrist and the 41mm gmt is pretty substantial, even compared to my 41mm sub

I have the BB58 and the BB Pro (GMT watch). I opted to go with the BB PRO instead of the BB GMT route because it is smaller than the GMT and I was concerned that I would get tired of the color. The BB Pro dial, indices, etc are very crisp and its colors are neutral.

Since the 2 options you are looking at are the 58 and the GMT, I would go with the 58 since the black and "gold" looks awesome, it is smaller (39mm) than the GMT and it can be worn with everything.

I still recommend that you have a look at the Pro (39mm) since you are considering the GMT. With all respect since I do not know you, some like to know if there is a linage from Tudor to Rolex for a watch they are about to purchase. The inspiration for the Pro is the Rolex Explorer II (1655) which is also 39mm but that one will set you back between $40K to $50K.
