I thought you would be smaller
Honestly, I'm not sure if this Accutron II would be part of my collection if it was not an online purchase. The information was off by at least 2mm and the picture didn't provide any hints that it was actually much larger than advertised. I belatedly found that it's actually 43.5mm wide and has a L2L distance of 50mm, so it's really too large for me. Just to put it in scale, here it is side by side with the 36mm Nomos Ahoi.
However, it still managed to charm me with its 70's case style, and lime on black color scheme. It's one of the last Bulova branded Accutron, it's also one of the few Bulova that are not an eyesore, and I'm not going to find a smoothest second's hand this side of a GS Spring Drive.
So yeah, today I'm wearing a frisbee and could not care less if it looks ridiculous on my wrist.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.

Well that's the rub: It's based on a 70's design but it was blown up like a sex doll to 150% of the original size. The model itself is relatively new, I think they stopped manufacturing it when they moved the Accutron IP from Bulova to the new Accutron company and that was 3-4 years ago?
My Biggest watch is The Bulova Stars & Stripes. It measures in at a Hefty 46mm ! but with the lack of Lugs. It still works for me.

I have the same watch (2017) and love it. It is my daily wear watch. I think the case design helps it fit and I have a small wrist. If you get bored with it, let me know. I have considered getting another one as a spare if mine ever breaks. I heard Bulova will not repair them for some stupid reason. The smooth sweep and incredible accuracy for the price is unbeatable. I just but in a new battery (Nov 2022) and I think that is the second one since new so 3 years per battery is what I am getting.
