Cheap thrills/I am weak

77 percent of the cost from this spree came from gift cards. The problem/good thing with gift cards is that I mistankenly/correctly treat them like it's not real money! Which leads to me buying things I don't need. You know what I don't need? A watch! So lets get some, 2 at a time.

The 2 g shocks were caught on clearance at walmart. I like my square a lot and kinda want to mod, but am terrified of taking it apart. Luckily this one was cheap, but it's still really good! It tells time while running functions at the same time! My fancy square cost like 20 bucks more and it doesn't do that. The second g I got because Benicio Del Toro wears one in Sicario. I don't remember that movie, but Benicio is cool and I'm pretty cool too, so it's cool to have a watch in common.

The blue casio I got because it's a kind of a version of f-91 I can wear at night. The f-91 is a true classic, idk about you but I feel slightly more connected to humanity when I wear the f-91. Casio supposedly sells millions of those per year, which means potentially millions of people are wearing  one at any given moment. I can hear the waves of beeps going across the world like a wave just thinking about it. Also at walmart. I know, I know, but eggs are expensive and I like a luxurious breakfast.

Can't go wrong with any of these. Don't be shy to mod the Square-G. You'd be surprised to learn that its only a few screws holding that thing together. Parts are usually pretty affordable as well.

Yes you can buy mod kits for the squares. I do like Casios. Good tool watch for the price. Love G Shocks. I'm wearing my GN-1000 Gulfmaster.

Enjoy the watches!

Cheers!

Great choices!

The DW5600 keeps excellent time.

You’ve done well. Just one more thing… what time is it???

I’ve been deep diving into Casio/G-Shock lately for similar reasons. I can buy them with rewards points through work, and trying to decide what to get. I would definitely buy a 5610, but that isn’t available, and the 5600 models they have are ugly.

One of the latest releases reminds me of your, incredibly cool, g shock. But it's like a "lite" version. Casio has kind of ruined other watches for me, lmao I kinda want to change the polarizing film on the square to a different color.

5610 is so worth getting. I snagged one on sale for way less than mrsp.

Yeah I hear you.  Casio does some strange things at times. I bought a GS and thought I would like the negative display. Wrong lol. I hate it lol  Oh well lesson learned.

Cheers!

Yeah, some of those negative display G Shocks aren't great, after getting a couple of positive display versions I'm not getting another negative display unless it's a really cool watch.
