Fortis-42 alternative
Hello, I wanted a Fortis B-42 chronograph, however, but they recently discontinued it, evolving to their new more avant garde line. There is nothing like it, not even an homage that I am aware of.
Do you guys know any Watch like it?

Sinn is quite bland compared to the Fortis, a little more vintage Styled. I wanted that pops of orange and the 12,9,6 subdial configuration.
The more Close match I saw was the Hemel HFT… but not quite the same thing…

Good to know there are a few fans for the B42 out there. I owned quite a few from the brand years ago but there was little support here in Toronto, I sold a few to a pre own watch dealer but kept this alarm iteration. Thought you might get a kick from seeing one again.

As others have said, Sinn 103 St might be the closest you can get. It has the same Valjoux 7750 movement:
The Fortis B52 Aeromaster is another option. It has the same case (without the bezel) and movement as the B52 Cosmonaut, but it has a more stylish look. The B52 Cosmonaut Chrono has a significantly more masculine and rugged look 🙂
Fortis definitely has it’s own style but Sinn make great watches too 👌I thought maybe Luminox had something up their sleeve but instead found that Luminox has coloured watches similar to the Breitling Endurance sports watches for a fraction of the price (sorry for the tangent)

Yeah, I saw them too. Nice comparison with the endurance. Really looks like it.
I saw the marathon chrono, but that is another kind of beast with 46mm diameter. Even I who has 19cm wrist probably would look wierd!

Yeah, the PC-7 team edition is really beatiful. The Aeromaster also looks more toolish with a bracelet so if you are going for that look I would definately consider that 😄 Good luck!
The B-42 “PC-7” is really cool, only 300 pcs produced. Watch the special Slide clasp. Where can you find a swiss made chrono with no screwed down crown and pushers, 20ATM Water resistant? 😉

i won’t get this version, but i think mechanical alarm watches are so neat
