G'Day Watch Nerds
Well hello there!
How's it going mates? I somehow stumbled upon WatchCrunch completely by accident and I'm very stoked to find a place to talk watches with like minded individuals. I'm from the state of Queensland, Australia and I am a full time watch nerd.
Whilst I have worn watches since I was 8 years old my first being a radium lumed Mickey Mouse watch I didn't really start collecting seriously until a little over a year ago when I bought my first big boy watch, an Omega 145.014 1970 Speedmaster Mark II with the optional racing dial. That was it, I was hooked. I now have a decent collection of watches encompassing a range of price points but I have a particular passion for Swiss watches with Omega being my favourites.
I look forward to showcasing my collection to you guys and hopefully I will learn a thing or two but I do come to you well armed with an encyclopaedic like knowledge of my special subject. Thankfully I have hooked my wife into horology as well so we enjoy our collections together and are always looking for new things.
