With a light blue dial straight from the troposphere and into my heart.
Unfortunately, the Grand Seiko SBGP017 ruins the beautiful view of the battery slowly discharging with a logo on the display case back. Still, at only $3,800, this puts the Grand in Seiko.

All the face palms
if this was 36mm it would have been an instant buy
That GS logo does not look too obtrusive to me. That 9F movement looks better and more interesting than a lot of off-the-shelf automatic movements!!
i want it...
I know it's pretty as far as quartz movements can be pretty, but there's nothing going on. What's to see? It's like opening the curtains in your holiday hotel room to find the view isn't the sea, but the wall of the hotel next door. In this case it's a nice wall, but it's still a wall.
I have nothing against quartz movements (I own quite a few) but I don't really understand this one. The joy of an exhibition caseback is in seeing all those little components working in harmony. It's alive. This is inanimate.
"But great works of art are often inanimate" I hear you cry but, let's be honest, some jewels, some brass, some blue screws, a copper coil and a cell battery does not a Mona Lisa make.
Display caseback is pointless I agree
this one is all about the dial - and has me incredibly torn between dislike of quartz jumpiness with and love of an emphermal blue dial and a slightly more affordable price :-\
