Looks like it’s GS new release season. I haven’t been too enamored with many of the 2024 drops to date, but this is a sexy sexy beast. And just in time for Valentine’s Day. Well played GS, well played.
If this was a spring drive model I would have already placed my order. There is something about a red dial…

Red and purple could be hot this year for sure.

Also agree on the topic of spring drive, GS should really do more SD watches without the power indicator. Currently there’s only a handful and most of them are in the cold colors, give us sth warm, like this dial.
Red is always the new everything. :-) The more the better I say. This is a gorgeous piece.

Agreed on Spring Drive. If you look at the lineup of spring drive watches in the Heritage collection, outside of the dial textures, the color palate they have for most of these watches is quite boring. They need add some pizazz to the colorways. This is fetching, but not on my radar because when I get a GS, it will be a spring drive and the Snowflake is still atop my list.

I've seen that one, but I'm not in love with that particular texture. I do really like the Mt. Iwate dials though. It kind of looks like the inside of a fruit and it's seeds more than the forging of a blade to me. I can't unsee it, lol.
I do like the Green Katana though. I tired it on about two weeks ago and liked it much more than I thought I would. The green and gold work very well together.

Nice to see that GS isn’t making their red models limited editions like they did in the past (SBGH269 autumn, SBGJ021, Red Katana SBGA493). I recommend seeing these in person, as the coloration is usually much less saturated than in photos. You can decide if that is a good thing or not. I will say none of them are as “red” as the Omega Aqua Terra Terracotta “Shades”.
