The devils in the detail

Morning cruncher land

Just sitting relaxing with morning coffee and I glimpsed at my watch, today I’m wearing my 2011 Breitling chrono superocean, I noticed a mark on the edge of the bezel.

Well I’ve owned this 13yrs and I never knew that this stamp was on the watch

So I got my phone in macro ( excuse the quality as I’m no professional photographer 😂) and started looking at the finer details of my watch.

Here’s a few photos of the smaller details of the watch and dial.

Does your watch have hidden marks or fascinating details you only really see under scrutiny?

If so share them here please……

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful Sunday sll 👍🏻

One thing that is unmistakable about a Breitling watch is the dial detail… superb detail on your emergency Verner 🎯

Wow, a view you don’t appreciate very often when you glance at a watch, the engraving is flowing but my favourite elements of this pic are the vertical on the crystal and that large crown 👌🏻

Thanks for sharing Trev 👍🏻

A dial full of numbers Rich👌🏻 but I guess they’re the ref no’s and they’re sitting pretty down there!

The dial is perfectly executed I particularly love the linear feel of it and the:

Alignment 👌🏻

Same as @WabiSabiMaster Al… he got me nervous too hahaha!!

Love this era of Breitling. The bezels still had this font as opposed to what I call the ‘Space 1999’, and were thinner (highlighting the dial).

That’s a superb red dial, I’m currently looking at red dialled watches for a purchase later in the year 👍🏻

Had this watch for 3years manual still works just like the mechanical even though is a cheap chinese watch. even the cheap has details.😆

It’s never about the cost for me Chad, I buy em because I like em, even though I’m never gonna buy a skeletonised watch as they’re not my cup of tea, I still find them interesting to look at and there’s some great detail in your watch 👏🏻👏🏻

This watch was a bad mistake I made at first but I did had it as a beater fell a few times hard and surprised it still works. I did mod it keep as a spare. But that one you got there is quality at its best.👍

Yep the B on the bezel is a cool one. My blackbird has it too.
