Former soldier, now just the cook. Family man. Gentlemen with a wild heart. Feed my innernerd on regular base with all kinds of model painting. Child of the Forrest. Sees God in nature. Likes luxere. Interests in ww2 docu’s and non snob horology channels. Very straight forward. Doesn’t mind giving a compliment.
Yes a Rolex Explorer 1. Great every day watch. Great to pass on to my daughter. It has a message too. Go explore my Freya find your interests or places in the world you like. If you get in trouble offer the Rolex for a ticket home!
I think a Rolex is a watch every watch guy deep in his heart wants. Even against better judgment.
For instance I love the Rolex Explorer 1. And one day I’ll have one.
Rolex is Rolex. if you ask the 99 % of normal Apple Watch people to name a watchbrand it’s going to be Seiko (reliable watch) Casio (cheap watch) but g-shocks are cool right? you drive s tank over it and it doesn’t break (it does by the way) and finaly Rolex (you must be rich!)
Everybody likes a compliment man! And a Rolex will do that for you. Is that really important? I say yes. Somebody liking your hobby is cool.
I hear you brother. I got a box full of g-shocks and suuntos. I still love them but that part of my life is in the past.
Maybe I’ll buy one more Casio g-shock origin solar, 200 atm Radio controlled 36 mm. In case of zombies:) or the apocalyps. Other then then that beatiful stylish watches Is the new game. My first luxury was a Yema Superman heritage deep blue diver.
