This was going to be my "summer" watch. It is a 1964 Bulova Surf King GY. The linen dial has darkened with age. It is more of a tobacco stain color than it originally was. On the wrist (or "on wrist" as some say) it appears a little too formal for the Hawaiian shirt wearing summer vibe that I was envisioning. I think that I might look like the guy who wears black Florsheims to the beach. Did Bulova think that Frankie was going to dance on the beach with Annette wearing one of these? Different times, I guess.
