Hello fellow WC, I am based in Singapore and I am wondering if anybody got the latest Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 in 35mm (automatic). I find strange because I received a notification this early morning that it’s back in stock, but when I recheck the (Singapore) website it states that it’s not (yet) available and I even came down one of the boutique (KL) and was informed by the AD that it It’ll be available in around mid-July. But man I guess out of desperation I tried on the quartz version and it looks magnificent on my wrist. 🤩 Am I hallucinating or this beauty is just freakishly popular right now? 🤔

You should just get the quartz. Cheaper, lighter, readily available and you’ve tried it on hand.
I really like the look of the PRX off wrist and was really tempted to get one. However, on wrist, it just looks too boxy (the straight edge).
The PRX is a pretty popular watch for sure. I bet with the auto 35 offering folks that had been sitting on the fence may now be jumping on board. Good luck snagging one when they finally hit you AD!

Honestly, I'd rather go with the PRX quartz version just because I'm not the hugest fan of the powermatic 80s price.
I have the power matic 80 40mm, great movement, recommend getting it.
Sound like they bait and switched you a bit at the AD over there but hey Congrats 🍾 in any case.
I got the powermatic blue face a few months ago and bought 2 straps addition to swap out of. It’s in my gallery if you fancy a look.
