Q: How did you get into watch collecting?

Have always been into watches, but the itch peaked after watching countless YouTubers…then the climb into the worm hole ensued in 2018. Regarding watches: (I) love most, like everything and hate nothing 🤙❤️🤙

Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?

First watch ever was a Swatch back in the 80s but first “big kid” watch is my beloved Tag Heur Formula 1 quartz back in 2009.

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?

haha no…maybe one day when my dad is willing to let go by passing on to me one of his beloved/prized Seikos and/or Bulovas (all from the early 60s) 🤞🙏🤞

Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?

Try NOT to buy into the latest trends, love the watch that “speaks” to you loudest regardless of brand and hype; but ALWAYS purchase from funds allocated for watches and NEVER place yourself in financial hardship over this hobby. …but most importantly: this is a hobby not to be taken too seriously…have fun, be open-minded and a whole new world awaits!! 🤙❤️

Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?

“Outlier” brands like Von Doren, Bamford, Hanhart, Marathon, Brew, Farer, Sinn, Bravur, Isotope, Nivada Grenchen - the list keeps growing…

Q: What is your grail watch and why?

The word “grail” gets tossed around a lot in this hobby and carries different meaning from person to person, like the word “happiness” - of which everyone’s version is different. The concept or idea of a “grail watch” implies/invokes a “finish line”, and my journey of watch enjoyment/collecting has no end. Every watch I own is a “grail” because of the time spent, care taken and effort made to acquire it.
