Thought it was just me…looked back and I had posted the same comment like 27 times…
I’ve always liked the Nivada Gretchen watches I’ve seen posted here but I’ve never gone to their online store. It’s refreshing to see a popular micro brand or any micro brand for that matter, to have a watches that you can actually purchase. There are so many micro brands in which almost their entire line up is “sold out”.
Two of my favorite brands head to head is mean in the first round, dude.

This is a very sentimental watch.
I'm a sucker for people that are pushing the boundaries of manufacturing in their home country. Throw in some unique design characteristics, bronze cases, and fun caseback engravings and I'm all in!

This one at least felt like a fairer matchup than some others, a more traditional #nivadagrenchen vs. a more avant garde #schofield . Similar price ranges but vastly different design ideals. I actually like both brands, and there are at least a few from each I wouldn’t mind having in the collection. As much as I liked the edginess of Schofield my vote is going to NG as I feel that they’re product offering is a little broader and more consistent.

Nivada Grenchen wins in my opinion
We definitely have to meet one day @ChronoGuy - or at least our collections have to meet! While I don't have as many Nivada Grenchen pieces as you (I have had my eye on the Analog Shift chrono for some time, so kudos to you for having it in your lineup!), I am equally obsessed about the brand, both contemporary and vintage. More of their pieces are definitely on the way into my collection in the future.
