Need help finding a watch!

I would love some recommendations for a new watch! I don’t have any experience with watches, and am not sure what is stylish. I want a watch that looks good and feels good. Don’t want to break the bank either; anyone have ideas?

Going to need a little bit more info.

Type -  Dress, Sport, Diver etc.

Budget. Less than 200 or 300-500.  1000 plus etc.

Welcome to Watch Crunch and Enjoy! Budget is helpful.  Let's start with a $ amount and then we can toss out options in different styles as @AllenG mentioned

As @TimeJunkie says an idea of budget would be helpful. But if you’re just looking to browse I’d take a look at the Japanese models. Orient, Citizen and Seiko are generally considered to be great brands that are competitively priced, and are quite easy to come by, particularly Seiko which is everywhere. And Casio is recognised by just about everyone as having some of the best watches at their price range.

If I were you I’d take a look in an authorised dealer and try on some watch from those brands. If nothing really jumps out at you or only something really expensive does make a couple of notes and do another post here.

One important thing to remember is 99% of people really don’t care about watches so make sure you like what you have on.

I agree about going with Casio or Citizen. They are known to last for decades.

Seiko is nice sometimes but has a ton of issues recently. My last one broke in a month of use.

This is my favorite one to recommend.

For 160 bucks you get titanium (ultra light and comfy on the skin), solar, sapphire, radio controlled, excellent sizing and ultra wide/flat back for comfort. And digital timers and alarms which are super useful. It even has a great orange LED light which isn't as harsh on the eyes as many other options.

28g weight, 9mm thick, 44mm lug to lug, 38mm case (or 40mm wide with the button guards).

Oh also as usual I'll mention I avoid leather because it's a horrible industry and often it's cats and dogs from China.
