Looks great. Man, I’ve been looking at these for a few months now. Do you mind if I ask where you got it.

I don't recall but my best guess where I got this one is from Taobao, and purchased through a Taobao agent. If you want a run-down on how to use Taobao for VCM (vintage Chinese mechanical) watch purchases, give me a PM and I'll be happy to share how I approach that.

I see that Taobao is part of the Ali group but geared towards the Chinese domestic market. Are you more likely to get better quality products there, or pretty much the same?

It's much better for second hand stuff than Aliexpress. When I buy new, I buy Aliexpress or the various company stores.

But for second hand watches, especially VCMs (vintage Chinese Mechanical watches)...and I've seen some pretty interesting Russian watches as well...the place can be good if you are thoughtful and careful. Look for matching movements, signed crowns, out of time period dial treatments...just like you should with watches from any seller.

If you haven't, check out Joel Chan's MicMicMor website https://micmicmor.blogspot.com/. It might be the best "here's what to look for" site on vintage Chinese watches that I can think of.

Much appreciated! All but two of my watches have been bought on AliExpress, so i will be interested to learn how to safely buy vintage Chinese watches.
