My next watch!!! Seiko 5 Vs casioak

I'll start off this post by saying I'm probably going to end up buying both of these watches. It's mostly just wich one I'll buy first.

Personally I'm leaning towards the casioak mini, because it's very different from my current only watch wich is a Seiko 5 dress watch. I'm only a little bit concerned about the size as even the mini version could look big on my 6,2" wrist.

If I bought the snkk87 I would put it on a grey suede strap to change the looks, but it would still look similar to my snkl45.

What do you think I should buy first?

I'd get the Seiko first just because those old Seiko 5s probably won't be around at good prices much longer.

I forgot to mention but they are both the same price where I live

Seing your collection I guess Seiko with white dial is a better choice. As for gshock, you can get the black casioak for 50$ in any pawn shop at any time

@gbelleh

100000% right here.

Joma is having re-DONK-u-lous pricing for the old 7s stuff.

Sad I missed the $89 Raider Rolex reissue.

Depends how you wanna dress each one up or down respectively, I'd take the Seiko imo

It’s summer. ☀️

Get the Casio first.

I love the casi oak design but what kills it for me is the dual use of analog and digital.

I'm biased

Have you seen the Seiko in person? I have the SNKK87 and this little $100 - $150 watch is one of the most beautiful watches I've ever seen. If you haven't seen one in person, the dial is silver, it is not white, nor does it ever appear white, no matter which way you turn your arm. I usually like the old school Seiko 5 cheapo sparkly bracelets, but I have my SNKK87 on a brown leather strap and it's just a little gem. It's not my most accurate Seiko 5 or the one with the best power reserve but it has such a pretty face I really don't care.
