Hello Pascal, Wow thank you :) I have not been able to find anything - I guess I was googling in the wrong language. I will definitely be looking into that. Yes having a item worn by ones grandfather is a fantastic way to bridge the gap of time. I fell a sense of belonging when wearing that watch.
and yes... haha "unfortunately" I have room for four more watches... :)
The Rolex explorer 36mm was the watch that got me into watches.
Saw it on a nato in my university days and fell in love. 12 years after I finally had the money to buy one. After that I thankfully found other brands to discover and enjoy.
I like Rolex. Great design, great quality and icon status.
I hate the status symbol idiots that know nothing about watches, even the daytonas they wear, they only care about the aproval from other rolex idiots… and to feel superior.
